# Nexthink

> Connect ThreatAware to Nexthink for enhanced security monitoring and asset tracking

## Overview

The Nexthink integration enables ThreatAware to collect data from Nexthink, providing enhanced visibility into your security infrastructure.

## Setup instructions

<Steps>
  <Step title="Log in to ThreatAware">
    * Open the ThreatAware dashboard and navigate to **Settings → Integrations**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Locate Nexthink">
    * Use the search bar to find **Nexthink** in the integrations list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect Nexthink">
    * Click **Connect**, and a pop-up window will appear.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Input Required Details">
    Ensure the Nexthink account used has **Data Privacy set to none (full access)** and **Finder access enabled**. Enter the Nexthink server **IP Address**, **Username** with access permissions, and the associated **Password**.

  <Step title="Authorize the Connection">
    Click the **Authorize** button in the pop-up window to finalize the setup.

## Required credentials

## Verification and testing

* **Verification**: Confirm that the **Integration Status** in ThreatAware displays as **Active** upon successful connection.
* **Troubleshooting**:
  * **Authorization Errors**: Ensure the Nexthink user account has **Finder access** enabled.
  * **Connection Issues**: Verify the IP address and credentials entered are accurate.

## Important notes

* Ensure the Nexthink user account has the appropriate access permissions and the server IP is correctly configured for ThreatAware.
