# Portnox Clear

> Connect ThreatAware to Portnox Clear to integrate data and enhance your security monitoring capabilities

## Overview

The Portnox Clear integration enables ThreatAware to collect data from Portnox Clear, providing enhanced visibility and security controls.

## Setup instructions

  <Step title="Connect Portnox Clear">
    Log in to the ThreatAware dashboard and navigate to **Settings** > **Systems**.

    * Use the search bar to locate Portnox Clear
    * Click **Connect** to initiate the connection - a pop-up window will appear

    Visit your [Portnox Clear Portal](https://clear.portnox.com/#/help/api). Copy the necessary information into ThreatAware and ensure you have the required API permissions per the [API Permissions Documentation](https://clear.portnox.com/#/help/api).

    Confirm that the connection is active by checking the status within ThreatAware under the **Systems** section. If you encounter issues, verify that all input information is correct and your API has appropriate permissions.
