Troubleshooting

Symptoms: Integration status shows authentication failureSolutions:
  • Double-check that the API Key is entered correctly
  • Ensure the key was copied entirely without extra spaces
  • Verify the API key hasn’t expired in Lansweeper
  • Generate a new API key if the current one is invalid
  • Confirm the key has read permissions in Lansweeper
Symptoms: Connection timeout or “Cannot reach server” errorSolutions:
  • Verify the Lansweeper URL is correct and accessible
  • Ensure the URL uses https:// protocol
  • Test the URL in a browser to confirm accessibility
  • Check for firewall rules that might block the connection
  • Contact your Lansweeper administrator to verify the URL
Symptoms: Integration connects but no data appears or “Access Denied” errorsSolutions:
  • Verify the API key has read permissions configured in Lansweeper
  • Check that the user who generated the API key is an administrator
  • Regenerate the API key with explicit read permissions
  • Review the Lansweeper API Documentation for required permissions
  • Contact Lansweeper support for permission issues
Symptoms: Integration shows active but no asset data appearsSolutions:
  • Wait up to 15 minutes for initial data synchronization
