Overview

The Malware Bytes OneView integration enables ThreatAware to collect data from your Malware Bytes OneView system.
Connection Method: API Setup Time: 15 minutes Access Required: Administrator account

Input details

Copy Account ID

Copy the Account ID into ThreatAware.

Copy Client ID

Copy the Client ID into ThreatAware.

Copy Client Secret

Copy the Client Secret into ThreatAware.

Authorize Connection

Click the Authorize button.

Verification and troubleshooting

  • Ensure the API Admin Account has the correct permissions; it should be at least a Site Admin.
  • If connection issues arise, double-check the copied Client Secret and Client ID for accuracy.
  • Verify that the Account ID is correctly extracted from the console URL.
  • If problems persist, consult ThreatAware support for assistance.

Malwarebyte OneView admin

  1. Log in to your Malwarebytes OneView Console.
  2. It is recommended to create a new Admin Account for API purposes. The Admin Account needs to be at least a Site Admin with permissions for the site you wish to monitor.
  3. Go to the Settings and then open the APIs & Services page.
  4. Proceed to the next step in ThreatAware.

API keys

  1. Click the plus symbol to generate new API details.
  2. Enter a Name and under Access, select: Read, Write, and Execute.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret displayed.

Account ID

  1. The Account ID is visible in the URL of the Malwarebytes Console while logged in.
  2. For OneView, you must first navigate to the specific site dashboard.
  3. Copy the Account ID from the Malwarebytes Console URL.
